Ms.  Bufford

Hello! My name is Sara Bufford, and I will be teaching 4th and 5th-Grade German this year.

As a native of Austria, German has always been my first language, and I enjoy sharing both the language and my culture with my students. I have been living in the United States since 2011, and this will be my fourth year at ICSAtlanta. Before joining the elementary team, I taught German in middle school.

My daughter, Livia, is in 3rd grade, and my son, Benjamin, is in 7th grade. They are both part of the German Track at ICSAtlanta. Outside of school, our family spends a lot of time at soccer and gymnastics. In my free time, I also enjoy reading and thrifting.

I am excited to be part of your child's learning journey this year and look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and fun in German!
