We made it to FALL BREAK!!! On the Week at a Glance, you will see quite a few assessments for the week we come back. However, please don't stress too much. Most do not even require additional studying. We are calling them quizes for grading purposes and the kids will most likely just see it as classwork 😊

We also realized that Langage homework had not been included at the top of the Week at a Glance like the English homework. We have remedied that.

As always, please check out the parent portal for updated grading information as the quarter draws to a close and it almost time for report cards!!

Spelling Has Begun!!

  • Spelling lists will be posted on Tuesdays. The first Spelling Test will be Tuesday, Sept 14.

  • Students were given a spelling assessment in school last week to determine their understanding of spelling patterns. Word lists will be assigned based on knowledge of these patterns. Some words may be "easy" to spell, but we want students to learn the pattern and be able to apply it to both familiar words (from their spelling list) and unfamiliar words when they are reading and writing.
